Dutch Design, made in the Netherlands

A special aspect of our collection of design vases is that several of the designs are actually made in the Netherlands. Klaas Kuiken, for example, handcrafts his distinctive green vases in his studio in Arnhem. By heating and blowing standard bottles, he transforms them into unique vases in which the original object and the new design come together. See also the video above!

The Delta Vase by Mart van Schijndel is also still produced in the Netherlands. Originally designed in 1981, this distinctive vase is handmade in The Hague from several sheets of glass. Every step of the production process, from cutting and grinding to assembling the glass, requires craftsmanship and precision.

This combination of a strong design vision and local, traditional craftsmanship makes these vases more than just beautiful home accessories. They are distinctive Dutch design objects in which design, craftsmanship and the personal signature of the maker come together.
