Can you turn your imagination into reality?

IMAGY is the ultimate imaginative building and guessing game, featuring 37 unique wooden blocks that let you create endless possibilities. Use your imagination to depict words and ideas as accurately as possible, and challenge yourself, your friends and family in no fewer than four different game variations!

Play alone, in pairs, or with a whole group, together with your children, and try to guess what the other person is making as quickly as possible to score points!

IMAGY was designed and conceived by Tim Fokker, an illustration student at the HKU and an intern at IKONIC. Support his project by taking part in the crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter!

The board game that revolves around imagination

IMAGY is all about imagination: something we’re all born with, but which often fades into the background as we get older. That’s precisely why it’s so important to keep playing. According to play therapists, stimulating your imagination helps develop cognitive, emotional and social skills. By bringing your imagination to life with the wooden blocks, IMAGY lets you play and discover again like a child. You can find the full game description at the bottom of this page.

How does the game work?

Choose a game variant (there are four, each with its own level of difficulty)
Build the object shown on the card using the wooden blocks
The player who guesses it correctly scores a point

This is the simplest variant, suitable for playing with children too.

In the most difficult variants, for example, you are given only a word and fewer blocks to build with, or penalty points if players shout the ‘forbidden word’.

What is Kickstarter?

Kickstarter is a global crowdfunding platform that helps creative people and entrepreneurs raise funds for their projects or ideas. The platform works as follows: a project only receives funding if the pre-set target amount is reached in full.

You can now ‘order’ this game via Kickstarter. Here’s how it works:

choose the edition you’d like to receive
enter your payment details – nothing will be charged yet
only once enough people have ‘backed’ the campaign, thereby reaching the target amount, will the payment be taken
the game will be produced and then sent to you

The campaign runs from the 1st of June to the 1st of July. The game will be produced in the last two quarters of the year and is expected to be delivered in early 2027.
