This set was designed by designer Floris Hovers in the context of the art project ' De Koude Kermis ' by art collective Dropstuff Media. The project connects the history of the fair, as an appealing form of folk culture, with the rich stories of cultural heritage, the imagination of the arts and the wonder of technological innovations. Take a ride on 'The Fair Grounds', a virtual reality rollercoaster ride on so-called ' kiddy rides ' (also for adults!), take a chance with the Grab the Pussy claw machine, choose your own e-numbers in the ZOET! cotton candy laboratory , take a spin on the Carnaval des Moutons merry-go-round - an ode to the zoetrope, but with Augmented Reality - or step into the self-driving bumper cars of Bumper Ballet !
